Nice to find an independent shop that specializes in European cars with Mercedes being a main focus. Just inherited a 2004 Chrysler Crossfire that is mechanically a 2003 SLK 320. The car even scans as a 2003 SLK 320! Chrysler service techs don't know much (if anything) about Mercedes. So, I figured best to have it serviced where techs are used to working on this SLK platform for 20+ years. There aren't many of these Crossfires around. If you have one, don't trust it to Chrysler techs. Despite some negative reviews here, I found the shop to be completely honest... Had the Check Engine, ABS and BAS/ESP lights on as well as a screwy auto deploying power rear spoiler that is only to deploy at 60 MPH but was acting up and cruise control was dead. Research indicated all these issues could be a relatively easy, single fix tied to one problem... Most likely one or more wheel speed sensors had gone bad but it could have been the ABS control module ($$$) or a few other things. My code reader can't read ABS codes. I did get a generic "vehicle speed sensor" code but that could have been a number of sensors. So instead of throwing $ at parts guessing I took it here. Diagnosis was as expected, the left rear wheel speed sensor had gone bad. No games played, no multiple sensors replaced, no unnecessary replacement of the ABS control module thrown in for more $$$. Problem fixed and everything is working fine again. I know there are going to be people out there with their code readers who complain that shops charge what they do for up-front diagnostics but lets remember they aren't diagnosing with a $39 code reader from Amazon and shops and their technicians have a lot of $ invested in tools, training and equipment not to mention plain old experience. Those who want to go on ghost hunts and start throwing new parts at a problem guessing be my guest... Your trunks will be full perfectly good "back-up" parts in no time. I also had them change the brake fluid (need special equipment to do it right) and engine coolant as add-ons as I don't think they had ever been changed (don't skimp on these or you'll have major problems to address at some point - Paying for an ounce of prevention today beats paying for a pound of cure tomorrow). Also of note, when you call this establishment someone answers the phone almost immediately... I can't tell you how many times I've ended up in voice mail hell trying to schedule service for my other American cars at their respective dealers when there's work that needs done I can't or don't want to do myself.

Deepsea, thank you SO much for the 5 star review! We are so happy that we could fix your left rear wheel speed sensor and change your brake fluid in your 2004 Chrysler Crossfire (2003 SLK 320). We greatly appreciate your kind words about our shop, and are glad you had such a great experience with us! We hope to see you and your car again in the future!

I’ve used EA a couple of times now since purchasing my BMW they have been great to work with and extremely professional. It was a bit scary at first since you always hear horror stories of the cost of maintenance with a vehicle like this but their prices have been extremely fair and their team is quick with updates, quick to get the work done and always leave the vehicle looking great!

Hi Isabel, thank you for leaving a 5 star review! We appreciate your kind words regarding our shop being fair with prices, quick with updates and quick to finish your car's service! We understand that maintenance on a BMW can be scary, but are glad you have put your trust in us! We look forward to seeing you again soon!

I have used this company o numerous occasions due to great service having only used the dealer prior to starting to use this facility. Whenever Overnight repair has been necessary a loaner vehicle has been provided with no cost added. The staff has always been highly knowledgeable and making necessary repairs with recommendations on overall condition of my vehicle that may need attention in the future. I intend to continue having my Mercedes S550 serviced there for the foreseeable future.

Went here for a Service A it was not done properly they are supposed to change the filter as part of the service according to my manual. Asked them to fix my top they charged me $550 and didn’t fix anything just tried to uncover more issues which was just aftermarket wiring for a six cord. After the service the charged me for an alignment that they could only half way do because it was a “aftermarket suspension”. Then all of a sudden my supercharger belt snapped and they can’t fix it. Really they are only trying to make as much MONEY as possible. I know this because I asked for one marker lamp to be fixed and they said because they weren’t amber it wouldn’t pass inspection and both needed to be changed and quoted $310 😂. I found out I can have clear markers with an amber light underneath. Stay away they charge money and don’t fix anything at all.

We understand your frustration when you buy a car from out of town, sight unseen, and it is heavily modified. With that in mind a "tuner" shop is your best bet for all your aftermarket items and we repaired the items that were agreed upon. As far as your Virginia State Inspection item, you might want to read the inspection manual or consult a Virginia State Trooper as the information we provided is State law. If you need the phone number to the State Police, we would be happy to provide that to you or if you would like to look it up, it is section19VAC30-70-180 paragraph 3. We wish you the best with your SL.
