Shop is expensive! Diagnostics start at $170+ for basic OBD check engine light tool (advanced auto parts does this for free in 5 minutes in the parking lot) then escalated quickly into several hundreds ($378 for my stage 2 testing) for further diagnostics. Most private shops in the area charge one labor hour or a set ~$100 fee for all diagnostics till they know the issue (exception for major/complicated diagnosis) Labor rates are $140 per hour (June 2022) while the local Audi/VW dealer is charging $150. Local private shops in the area are $80-100 per hour. Finally, they upcharge parts and shop fees to make a little extra on ordered parts too. This is the first shop I have been to in 15 years that has this as standard practice. After being quoted at 3 separate shops including them, they came in at $4200, the dealer was $4000, and another private Audi/VW specialist in the area is completing the job with the same parts and warranty for under $3000. Would not recommend unless you don’t care about burning money for convenience.

Excellent service: fixed a fuel pressure issue that another shop failed to fix. I will bring my car back here for service in the future!

Outstanding experience. Reasonable cost. If you own a vehicle that needs specialized mechanics, you should have known its going to cost a little more so I don’t get the reviews where people are surprised at that. No gouging here. Vehicle went in needing some love and came out purring like a kitten.. well until you give her a little gas. Highly recommended. 2016 Audi S3.

I had an electrical issue with my 2009 BMW 328i. I had the vehicle towed to European Autowerks for repair. I had never used them before but was impressed with the reviews I had read. The communication was very good and Ramele kept me informed with the progress of my vehicle. They did not continue with any work until Ramele spoke with me and verified that I agreed with their assessment and gave the approval to continue the work. I was not happy with what I had to pay for the repair, however, the cost would have been much higher if I had taken my vehicle to a BMW dealership. When I say I was not happy with the price, it was because European Autowerks over charged, it’s because the nature of the work and repair done to my vehicle is inherently expensive. They were very knowledgeable and used NEW genuine BMW parts for the repair. I would definitely recommend European Autowerks to anyone who has a BMW for any type of repair, especially electrical repair.
