I have been going to Eric, Jessee and the rest of guys for about 6 years now. It is so nice to finally find honest mechanics that charge a fair rate. They have a customer for a life!! Also their ability to diagnose mysterious problems is above all. As a matter of fact that is how I came to know Automotive Specialists, another shop in town that could not figure out a problem I was having told me to go see Eric. I am usually a very harsh judge when I review a company but there is honestly nothing bad I can even think of about these guys.

Eric and his staff have all treated me very well. I am in and out the door, and any car problems are explained in a very detailed and reasonable way. Automotive Specialists is an extremely sharp outfit. Why do I like them so much? There is never any phoney baloney to deal with here. Their marketing campaign with the lifetime oil change was a great deal, but I would bring my car here even without the ads. I think it is politeness, pride, and professionalism that has me sold. I trust them completely and they are totally squared away. I migrated after dealing with indifferent and at times rude service on Indian River near Kempsville Rd. in the auto strip. I do not throw out "five stars" to just anyone, nor write recommendations for just anyone. I am motivated to do this on my own because I always feel good walking out the door at Auto Specialists.

What a relief to come to this shop. My vehicle was running rough, jerking at stops, and died on me in the middle of a busy intersection. I took it to a shop near my work they suggested I put a performance enhancer in the oil. I did, and it didn't help. A co-worker suggested Automotive Specialists, saying they seem to be able to fix anything. I dropped off my vehicle after work and they called me the next day with what was wrong, how to fix it, and how much. They created a plan to do the repairs in stages, to make it more affordable. They are honest, knowledgeable & helpful.

I took my car to Automotive Specialists after taking it to 2 other places and getting 2 totally different diagnostics done. When I called to make an appointment, I got one scheduled for the next day. I dropped my car off, and after the mechanic had a chance to look at it, he told me that he knew exactly what was wrong with my car. It was a simple fix and actually cost me less than half of what both other mechanics had suggested. Not only did my car get fixed the first time, reccomendations were made as to my needs and desires in regards to my paticular situation. I feel that not only did they listen to me, they actually talked to me like I was a knowledgeable human being and not just another female getting ripped off by another stereotypical auto shop. The manager personally called me after I left the shop to make sure my car was running well after they fixed it. I truly feel that the professionals at Automotive Specialists went above and beyond the call of duty, and I would recommend them to anyone looking for honest, excellent service and automotive repairs. If you are blindly searching for a mechanic because you are new to the area, like most of us are, look no further. Automotive Specialists is it.

These guys gave it to me straight, showed me exactly what the isue was and gave me a fair price. I also took them a new vehicle I was considering purchasing. They spent over an hour checking it over thoroughly and made me far more comfortable buying it. Gave me a little haggling power too!

This has got to be one of the top shops in the area. Not only are they knowledgeable, they get the car fixed right the first time. So many people have told me about this place and thank goodness I finally decided to listen. This will be the only shop to work on our cars from now on!
